quizno: They told me i would get paid $7 an hour + tips. I'm not sure if i'll get taxed. I'm 16 years old, so i'm sure i will. Is there anything I should prepare for?|||A couple of tips from a fellow fast food worker: 1. Be as fast as you can, figure out all the shortcuts that you can. 2. DO NOT CALL IN 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SHIFT, and DO NOT DO IT ALL THE TIME. That's a sure-fire way to get canned. 3. Always look busy, there is always something to do. 4. When something is done wrong, yell at a co-worker...then apologize when the customer is gone. It always makes you look like you care, and very often the customer won't complain to corporate. Make sure your co-worker knows what you're doing. 5. Keep the place as clean as possible. 6. Always repeat orders back to the customer, some will be jerks and rattle off things too fast for you. 7. There will be jerks, just deal with them. You will figure out some people are annoyingly cheap, I'm not telling you who. Just give them their discounts to get them off your back.|||customers always right|||you will be taxed on your 7.00/hr income and only on the taxes you claim, if you even need to. This is probably gonna be easier then working at a mcdonalds because they wont be as fast paced all the time. That means they will not take out taxes, but you will have to pay social security. You throw it in the oven until the you burn the top and ends. You take out the now charcoal smelling creation and sell it to some unsuspecting soul and ask them is they want to meal out of it.. Just remember to always be courteous to the customer even if they are really nasty-its all part of customer service.
